Junior QA Engineer with JavaScript

We are looking for a person who will join our QA team to help us to keep the quality of our products at the highest level. The perfect candidate would have a mix of soft and technical skills, be open-minded, patient, and creative.

You will be responsible for testing our products (CKEditor 5, PDF/Docx converters, Cloud Services, Websites), solving technical problems coming from our customers and community, and communicating with CKEditor 5 community. We’d like you to become an expert in our products and develop your technical and soft skills.

We guarantee support from our QA Engineers who will introduce you to projects and help you during your onboarding. We know how important are first days in a new job, so we will make sure that you will have time for learning about our products and how we work 🙂

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manual testing of our products (CKEditor 5, CKEditor 4, Cloud Services and more) and websites.
  • Reporting and verifying issues in our issue trackers.
  • Working on improving our documentation.
  • Depending on skills, creating test automation and automation scripts.
  • Providing technical support for our clients (mostly written communication).
  • Communicating with the CKEditor 5 community on GitHub/Stack Overflow.

 

Requirements:

  • You need to love testing; we know how important job satisfaction is on a daily basis.
  • A will to expand your knowledge and experience (technical and soft skills).
  • Very good English skills (B2-C1) – all our communication is held in English.
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge (experience with some frameworks will be a plus)
  • Solid HTML and CSS knowledge.
  • Being at ease with developer console in web browsers.
  • Nice to have: a previous similar experience
